Yarrow

Achillea millefolium. An aromatic digestive bitter that stimulates appetite and improves digestion. Yarrow helps bring on a good sweat and lowers fevers when taken as a tea or when the extract is put into hot water. It is an excellent hemostat that stops bleeding of wounds as well as reduces excessive menstrual flow. Yarrow normalizes blood flow whether too little or too much. We carry the dry leaves in our first-aid kit and have used it often in our wildlife rehabilitation center. Anti-inflammatory, helps reduce muscle pain and joint swelling as well as tones the uterus. Yarrow has a history of use on varicose veins and hemorrhoids. This is an abundant plant on our land and around the globe. The white flowers gather moonlight and reflect it to surrounding areas. It makes a wonderful Flower Essence. Yarrow is an ingredient in several of our formulas, salves, and teas._x000D_
