Usnea barbata. Usnea lichen is an immunostimulant and has been in use for centuries and is now validated by scientific studies. It has been shown to be effective against many gram-positive bacterias as well as keeping fungus in check. Can be given internally as well as applied externally on wounds. Some veterinarians have had excellent results using Usnea for infections  in udders and teats during lactation and also for bone infections that antibiotic therapy cannot control.

Ingredients: Dry wild Usnea lichen, certified organic cane alcohol, and distilled water.

Cautions: Not for pregnant animals. Glass dropper can break if bitten! Transfer to plastic syringe or dropper for oral use. Eagle Peak Herbals chooses not to use plastic packaging for our herbal products.

Suggested Use: Give drops 2 to 3 times daily.
Cats: Mix dose with meat or treat, not to be given directly into mouth. 
Dogs: Give dose orally between lip and gum or mix with food.
  1 to 10 lbs:    1 to 3 drops
  10 to 20 lbs:  3 to 6 drops 
  20 to 40 lbs:   6 to 12 drops
  40 to 80 lbs:   12 to 25 drops
  80 to 100 lbs:  25 to 35 drops (20 drops = 1 ml or cc)
Large animals: 1.5 to 4 ml per 100 lbs.  Give dose on grain or orally between lip and gum 2 to 4 times daily.
Externally: Use full strength or dilute up to 1:10
