Plantago major. Plantain is a very common plant, easily found and easily used. It is a safe and effective immunostimulant, astringent, is anti-inflammatory, and antimicrobial. It is a demulcent so it soothes and coats swollen and inflamed tissues. Helpful for overstimulated coughing reflex, upper respiratory infections, hoarseness, sore throat and hay fever. Plantain soothes the itching of bites and stings as well as from irritating plants such as Poison Oak and Ivy. It has a beneficial effect on the urinary tract and digestive system.  This is an ingredient in our Herbal Salve and Lip Balm.

Ingredients: Dry wild or organic Plantain leaf, certified organic corn alcohol and distilled water.

Suggested Use: Take 20 drops 3 times daily in liquid or under the tongue, or rub in externally.
